Rapidly expanding private equity firm that recently closed a new $5b fund is looking for a new Senior Fund Accountant. The private equity firm has a value-based investment philosophy targeting firms in healthcare, real estate, financial services and technology. Due to rapid growth the firm is looking for a new Senior Fund Accountant that will be in charge of managing the fund accounting for the firm’s newly closed $5b fund, providing the candidate an extremely high level of responsibility for a complex portfolio of investments.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Utilize your strong knowledge base in partnership accounting to manage the books for the $5b portfolio of company investments; including, managing all general ledger accounting for a large book of company investments as well as monthly reconciliation and closing of books.
* Become go-to expert in unrealized and realized gains within the portfolio of companies; including providing fair value reports for clients on a monthly basis.
* Assist with manage of all capital calls, distribution of funds and cash flow management for entire $5b portfolio.
* Assist external auditors with annual audit of fund.

Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Accounting
* 3+ years of public accounting experience
* Experience utilizing excel and QuickBooks.
* Nice to have: CPA
