Our client is a leading private equity investment management firm with combined over 180 years of investment experience. With current assets under management of over $2.1 billion their focus is mainly in renewable energy projects such as wind and solar. Their investors range from high net worth individuals, family offices and institutional investors.
The Senior Accountant will be the first accounting hire in San Francisco and will work closely with the accounting team in New York. This person will be responsible for preparing the monthly accounts for the corporate and project entities, assist with year-end audit, the financial reporting, and the filing of tax returns.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a passion for renewable energy, 4+ years of accounting experience including: 3+ years in public AND 2+ years experience in financial services (private equity, venture capital, hedge fund) or renewable energy industry. A CPA, exposure to tax and fund level performance reporting would be a plus.
This person will report directly to the Head of the US office based in New York and will be a key person in the further growth of the company. The compensation package consists of a competitive base salary and attractive bonus component.
