As a Senior DevOps Engineer you’ll lead the DevOps function and be a key player in the creation of exciting Greenfield capabilities and products, creating infrastructure and environments to support the platform and applications using Terraform, Ansible and related technologies to ensure that all environments (development, staging, UAT and production) are controlled and consistent.

The company currently uses a number of MSPs and external providers, one of your initial challenges will be to bring this all together into one coherent supplier solution, managing the process and communications.

You’ll provide expertise to other areas of the business including development teams, QA and customer support and implant DevOps technologies and processes (e.g. Containerisation, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, metrics and monitoring), collaborating with counterparts in the US to introduce consistent company wide processes.

Requirements:

*Experience of managing a cloud transformation project to Azure, excellent understanding of cloud security models and best practices
*Strong background in Windows/Linux/Unix Administration in IaaS / PaaS / SaaS model
*Excellent understanding of modern CI/CD methods and approaches
*Strong understanding ‘Infrastructure as Code’ technologies
*Experience of enterprise systems deployed as microservices through code pipelines utilising containerisation (Docker)
*Working knowledge, understanding and ability to write scripts using languages including Bash, Python and an ability to understand Java, JavaScript and PHP
*Experience and ability to manage third party suppliers, partners and stakeholders
*Excellent communication skills
