A rapidly expanding boutique hedge fund is looking to hire an investor relations professional.

The role is available as the current incumbent is moving into a pure marketing position. Taking on her remit, the hire will benefit from a remit that covers marketing support, investor relations, PR and sales responsibilities. You will report directly into the CEO (main asset raiser).

We are specifically looking for an operations/trade support person to move into the role as he/she will provide cover to the HOO when he is away. That said, it is imperative that candidates are looking to make this switch and pursue a long-term career in hedge fund investor relations / sales.

We are only looking at smart, confident, well presentable, great communicators who have a strong academic background and 2-5 years operations/trade support experience.

The focus is on getting the right the individual, so candidates can take comfort that there is an open budget to provide the most relevant individual with an attractive step up on base salary upon joining. My client told me that based on this year’s fund performance, a top performer in this role would earn a 40-50% bonus.
