Hedge Fund is seeking a Fund Origination Analyst. Source and maintain a high quality hedge fund investment menu for advisors and clients. BA/BS required; Finance, Accounting or business related program preferred. 1+ year of professional investment experience.

Details

The candidate works under direct supervision while learning and developing the basic skills and techniques necessary for credit analysis. Typically 1-2 years experience with an MBA.

Hedge Fund Origination and Product Management (HF OPM) is part of the Investment Solutions Group and is responsible for sourcing and maintaining a high quality hedge fund investment menu for advisors and clients. The team collectively reviews 100+ prospective hedge strategies each year and opportunistically adds 15-20/year. HF OPM negotiates offering terms and maintains relationship and product oversight for an $18B hedge fund platform.

The analyst candidate will be responsible for canvassing strategies, understanding the regulatory environment, monitoring structuring trends, providing comprehensive tracking, and authoring communications to advisors and clients related to hedge offerings.

Requirements:

* BA/BS required; Finance, Accounting or business related program preferred
* 1+ year of professional investment experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Project management skills
* Highly analytical
* Strong MS Office experience (Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
