Position Summary:

You will be working directly with leading hedge fund firms in the alternative asset industry under the guidance and direction from our experienced team of industry veterans. You will be facilitating our service offering by assisting, performing and reviewing the following:

· Prepares and reviews monthly NAV calculations and agree to the fund administration’s books

· Prepares and/or reviews quarterly and annual reporting packages prior to management approval

· Prepares and reviews correspondence with client investors to address inquiries as needed

· Prepares and reviews cash and valuation reconciliations

· Middle and back office operations support

· Accounts Payable and treasury matters

· Prepares and reviews management and incentive fee calculations

· Engage and source third party service provider agreements

· Communicates with clients to establish deadlines for quarterly and annual deliverables in accordance with clients’ LPA requirements

· Prepares and reviews all team wires/transfers prior to treasury approval and sign off

· Assist in the development and training of new team members as required

· Coordinates and completes projects as directed by the client and management

· Continually updates job knowledge by participating in team trainings; maintains personal networks; participates in business development opportunities as appropriate

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

· Either fund operations or fund accounting experience at a hedge fund is required

· Analytical, technical, technology skills with proficiency in accounting

· Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service

· Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

· CPA license or advanced degree (MBA or MSA) preferred but not required

· 10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

· Knowledge of hedge fund accounting software a plus

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Able to assist in the development and training of staff

· Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients and coworkers

· Able to meet communicated schedules and deadlines

· Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions of executive and management team
