We are working with a fast-expanding investment platform with a diversified real estate portfolio across Asia. As part of its strategic growth plans, the company is seeking a senior finance leader to take ownership of the overall finance function in Singapore. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, strengthening operational resilience, and supporting investment ambitions across multiple asset classes.
This is a senior leadership role designed for a commercially minded finance professional who can bridge strategic vision with hands-on financial management. You will work closely with the executive team and investment professionals to drive long-term value creation, ensure robust governance, and provide financial clarity to support decision-making at both the portfolio and corporate levels.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Strategic Stewardship & Financial Leadership
* Define and implement the finance roadmap aligned with the platform’s investment and operational objectives
* Lead strategic capital planning, scenario modelling, and financial risk assessments to support growth and asset monetization plans
* Partner closely with business leaders to shape key financial decisions and strategic initiatives
Finance Operations & Governance
* Oversee the full spectrum of finance activities including accounting, management reporting, tax, treasury, compliance, and audit functions
* Strengthen reporting frameworks and controls to ensure high standards of accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in financial information
* Drive automation and efficiency improvements across finance processes and systems
Business Partnering & Commercial Insight
* Collaborate with the investment and asset management teams to evaluate business plans, track asset performance, and support capital deployment strategies
* Provide clear financial narratives and insights to guide strategic decisions, investment committee discussions, and Board reporting
* Support feasibility analysis, deal structuring, and capital recycling strategies
Asset & Portfolio Oversight
* Monitor and optimise financial performance of a diversified real estate portfolio, covering assets such as commercial, residential, logistics, retail, and mixed-use developments
* Contribute to financing strategies, cash flow planning, and project-level profitability reviews
* Support potential listings, capital market initiatives, and investor reporting requirements
Leadership & Organisational Development
* Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team, instilling strong business partnering capabilities and a culture of accountability
* Act as a key liaison with the external advisors including auditors, tax agents, bankers, and legal partners
* Champion a proactive finance function that goes beyond reporting to drive strategic outcomes
Candidate Profile:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
* Recognised professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA) is strongly preferred
* Minimum 15–18 years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally gained in real estate, infrastructure, investment or asset-heavy industries
* Proven ability to lead both strategy and execution, with solid technical grounding in financial reporting, budgeting, and governance
* Commercially astute, with the ability to evaluate complex investments and communicate financial insights with clarity and influence
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior management, investment partners, and external stakeholders
* Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities in a fast-evolving environment
