Manager – Fund Accounting, Private Equity

Job Summary

Be the manager-in-charge of designated Private Equity clients, and supervise the team members to address all clients’ and investors’ requests accurately and timely. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA or equivalent. 7+ years of fund accounting experience in PE industries.

Details

Responsibilities:

* Be the manager-in-charge of designated Private Equity (PE) clients, and supervise the team members to address all clients’ and investors’ requests accurately and timely
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with the clients, investors and other fund participants
* Review the team members’ work and provide necessary guidance to them, especially on complicated tasks
* Provide ongoing training to the team members to enhance their technical knowledge and soft skills
* Coordinate with the offshore supporting teams and ensure adequate resources are properly allocated and utilised
* Maintain professional skepticism on all risky areas and escalate to the senior management in a timely manner
* Identify improvement areas in workflows in order to enhance work efficiency
* Assist the senior management in handling internal administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA or equivalent
* At least 7 years of fund accounting experience in PE industries
* Experience in managing client relationship and deliverables
* Experience in managing people within the organisation
* Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills
* ‘Can do’ attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines, working under pressure and lead by example
