Apex Group Americas is looking for a skilled Senior Fund Accountant in Private Equity to join our inclusive and collaborative team.

The Senior Fund Accountant will perform and coordinate a variety of administrative duties and tasks, including asset administration, maintenance, and reconciliation. You will liaise with third party brokers/custodians/agents and prepare and apply for various reports required by internal teams.

Hybrid working options are available for this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Liaise with third-party brokers, custodians, and agents
* Process agent notices and corporate actions
* Enter and settle trades as required
* Prepare and assist with various reports required by the internal teams
* Prepare daily reconciliation of cash transactions and daily reconciliation of Apex/client positions

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
* CPA/MBA/Master’s degree (advantageous)
* Ability to manage complex accounting structures required
* Self-starter who volunteers for new opportunities and project
* Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
* Knowledge of Fund Administration (Private Equity and/or Hedge Fund accounting) (advantageous)
* Prior experience with incentive fees, waterfall distributions, allocations, financial statements and/or subsequent closes (advantageous)
