About Our Client
Our client, a leading global investment manager with a brilliant track record, offers the opportunity to be a key figure within the newly established special opportunities investment team. Based in Abu Dhabi, your role will be instrumental to drive new investments, overseeing the entire deal lifecycle from origination to execution and subsequently managing a specific portfolio of assets.
What the Job Involves:
* Driving the identification process for potential opportunities, sourcing and screening new investments from origination to execution
* Acting as a day-to-day asset manager for portfolio assets, shaping and developing the strategy
* Building and managing relationships with current and prospective clients
* Overseeing the direct reports to ensure effective and efficient process management
* Mentoring and developing the junior team members, whilst proactively identifying opportunities for both personal and team developments
Who We Are Looking For:
* Experienced investment professional from a leading investment bank special opportunities investment team, private equity / special opportunities team or asset management firm
* Proven track record leading end-to-end deal origination and execution across the capital structure in complex situations
* Deep industry knowledge across a variety of financial instruments
* Strong ability to manage, develop and mentor the junior team members
* Demonstrate versatile communication skills and the ability to adapt them effectively to suit the specific needs and preferences of various audiences
