We are delighted to Partner with a European Private Equity platform who has launched a Core+ Infrastructure Strategy and now hiring an Investment Director in London. The role will involve driving idea generation, contributing to the outreach strategy, sourcing deals, and leading workstreams, with a sector focus on energy transition (renewable generation, smart mobility, energy efficiency) and the circular economy.
The Role:
* Originate investment opportunities across Europe
* Screen investment opportunities through qualitative research, financial modelling of projected revenues and credit risk analysis
* Lead on the execution of investments and supervise the due diligence work relating to them
* Prepare investment papers putting forward key risks, mitigations and investment recommendations
* Negotiate legal documentation for investments, take responsibility for making commercial decisions
* Liaise with internal and external advisers and intermediaries on investments, keep deals moving and driving through to completion
Requirements:
* Highly numerate and a strong educational background
* Proven track record (10 years+ experience) of making quality infrastructure investments across Europe
* Excellent knowledge of the energy market and a passion for sustainable infrastructure
* Strong origination network across Europe
* Fluent in English and additional European languages beneficial
