Our highly successful private equity client is growing and hiring an additional Controller to oversee a portfolio of companies. This high profile role reports to the CFO and is a balance of hands-on accounting and acting as a strategic business partner.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in all back-office financial and operational matters
* Create portfolio company valuations
* Cash management
* Model projected capital calls and capital distributions
* Oversee internal regulatory compliance matters
* Report to investors
* Oversee tax planning in conjunction with the outside tax and legal professionals
* Review portfolio company financial statement
* Provide as-needed assistance/guidance to portfolio companies
* Complete Portfolio company insurance reviews
* Maintain investor portal

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with outstanding academic credentials
* CPA and 5+ years accounting experience
* Impeccable reputation for integrity
* Demonstrated self-starter
* Strong organizational skills
* Computer literate: fluent in QuickBooks, Excel and PowerPoint, with modeling skills being a plus
* Public accounting experience preferred
