TowerBrook is now investing two funds 1) it’s fifth buy-out fund (~$4.25Bn), and 2) it’s second special situations fund (~$1B), that pursues investment strategies outside the parameters of the main fund. Job Description:

TowerBrook Capital Partners is seeking a new team member to join the Portfolio Group as an Associate. The primary focus of this role will be to enhance the performance of UK and European portfolio companies. The role is based in London and has two primary focuses:

(1) working with Portfolio Company CEOs and senior management to drive value creation: supporting management to develop and drive strategic plans including; leading short term projects with management teams; improving company supply chains and operations, evaluating and modelling pricing strategies, analysing business cases for M&A opportunities, and analysing large customer data sets to build new marketing strategies. These will be hands-on roles, drawing on problem solving and execution related skills.

(2) partnering with investment professionals to manage active due diligence. selecting advisors and coordinating work done by third-party suppliers/consultants, as well as developing Value creation plans prior to deal closing.

Profile:

Top-notch consultant, with 2+ years of broad experience with an above track performance record
Functional skills – General strategy/commercial experience and spikes in one/some of operations, IT, marketing (pricing, market entry, go-to-market or sales work)
Strong data analytic skills (knowledge of Alteryx or SQL is a plus)
Sector – No specific preference – but experience with current portfolio mix is likely to be advantageous
PE experience – Interest and familiarity with private equity; deep experience or expertise in private equity situations would be helpful but not a requirement
Self-starter and independently motivated
Highest standards of integrity and honesty, and discretion for sensitive and confidential information
