Role:
A large financial services firm, located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, is looking to add a Fund Accountant to their team. This individual will report to the controller and assist with fund valuations including accruals, fee computations, security valuations, as well as income allocations.
Responsibilities:
- Help Prepare income statements, balance sheet, statements, performance returns, etc.
- Accrue and Calculate fund expenses
- Work with broker to perform securities valuation & reconciliation of balances
- Maintain the books for the funds
- Assist other departments such as internal/external auditors, tax, etc.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of relevant industry experience and/or public accounting background with financial services clients. CPA is an asset but not required.
