The CFO is looking to bring on someone at the Senior Accountant level, ideally from a Big4 FSO group or a top 10 firm with a majority of investment management clients, and groom them into the role. Work closely with the CFO and VP of Finance. Must have 3+ years of audit and/or in-house experience ideal with diverse financial services background.

Our client is a unique multi-strategy and sophisticated investment fund manager, founded by a highly successful hedge fund manager with a successful track record of pursuing various strategies depending on macroeconomic market conditions. For example, they were one of the few that shorted the housing crisis back in ’08 years. Their current master fund is focused on the various Fintech models in the market. This Senior Accountant position is versatile, exciting, and bears a lot of responsibility as it touches on all of their funds and operations. The firm outsources much of the heavy lifting accounting work to administrators, so this role mostly focuses on the high level financial strategy and operation for each fund.

* This person will work closely with the CFO and VP of Finance.
* The CFO is looking to bring on someone at the Senior Accountant level, ideally from a Big4 FSO group or a top 10 firm with a majority of investment management clients, and groom them into the role.
* This Senior Accountant role has terrific career progression and mentorship and offers a very down to earth team that is extremely intelligent.
* The whole firm is about a 20 person office with gorgeous offices. They have a waiting list of investors that want to get into their funds.

Job Requirements

* 3+ years of audit and/or in-house experience ideal with diverse financial services background.
* High performer and high aptitude a must
* Able to pick up new material and tasks and figure it out as you go. Wants a stable but growing and extremely successful team to learn from.
