Python Developer Data Science

Job Summary

You will develop tools and libraries to integrate third party and open source data science tooling with in-house data platforms; working directly with Quants and researches to understand their challenges and help deliver tools to solve those problems. You’ll also work with the Technology Innovation group to assess and recommend new tools, platforms and approaches and implement them. Strong Python development skills including numerical programming using Python libraries such as Pandas, Numpy and tools such as Jupyter.

Requirements:

*Strong Python development skills including numerical programming using Python libraries such as Pandas, Numpy and tools such as Jupyter
*Experience working closely with data scientists or quantitative researchers
*Confidence to experiment with new ideas and technologies and engineer solutions that will be relied upon by many users
*Finance experience is not required, aptitude and desire to learn about financial markets is
*Record of academic achievement; 2.1 or above from a top tier university gained in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar discipline
