Linux Security Engineer

Job Summary

Hedge Fund with multi-billion dollars under management is seeking a Linux Security Engineer to join the team responsible for the day to day management of an extensive security infrastructure, including perimeter security. Experience of deploying private, public and hybrid cloud solutions, combined with a strong understanding of the security controls that should be applied in these environments.

Requirements:

*Indepth knowledge of Linux Security Standards
*Experience of deploying private, public and hybrid cloud solutions, combined with a strong understanding of the security controls that should be applied in these environments
*Experience of managing enterprise security products such as Antivirus, Data Loss Prevention tools, Endpoint Protection, Identity Management and scripting capabilities both on Linux and Windows platforms
*Python, shell or bash scripting skills
*Excellent communication skills
*Degree educated, 2.1 or above in Computer Science, Security or Engineering discipline
