This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a 1st Class UX/ UI Developer with sills across Python, JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, and CSS to join my hedge fund client based in the heart of Cambridge City centre as they expand their web development team. The Current team of UX/ UI Web developers are known for their expertise in what they do, and you will be working directly with the front office traders and business operations so this truly is a career making role.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating great interfaces and great content and is confident using Python, JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, and CSS amongst others. You will be working alongside software engineers and quantitative analysts to help design and implement user interfaces for server-side applications.
You will work in a fast paced environment with multiple teams, providing a common and consistent interface to the trading systems which handle billions of dollars daily.
Skills Required:
- Experience of building modern, intuitive enterprise-level web UI/UX.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, CSS.
- Good communication skills and an ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
Skills Preferred:
- Linux
- Web infrastructure setup/maintenance.
- SQL (ideally Postgres), Redis.
Qualifications:
- A degree in computer science or related discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years demonstrable experience in UI development.
