Hedge fund. Responsible for daily trade reconciliations involving daily activity with prime brokers, cash management between different prime brokers, intraday trade monitoring and matching T+0. Operational experience in trade management, trade reconciliation or post-trade environment.

My client is a small but established Hedge Fund that’s currently looking to build out its operations team as part of a strategic initiative due to business growth. This is role that works full front to back across the trade lifecycle, providing excellent exposure working cross asset.
This is an area with a lot of investment and with plans to further expand they’re looking for an ambitious individual who will relish the opportunity to help grow and further develop the team.
The right individual for this role will demonstrate excellent communication skills, as you will be facing off to both clients and senior stakeholders within the wider operations teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily trade reconciliations involving daily activity with Prime Brokers.
- Cash management between different Prime Brokers.
- Intraday trade monitoring and matching T+0.
- Resolving position, Market Value and trade discrepancies.
- Mitigating risk by ensuring timely completion and reporting of all trade and position breaks on T+1.
Key skills required:
- Ideally experience with one or more of the following products – Bonds, CFDs, Credit Derivatives, Equities, Equity Swaps, Exchange Traded Futures, FX and Interest Rate Swaps.
- Operational experience in Trade management, Trade reconciliation or Post-Trade environment.
- Any experience with the following systems would be of benefit – DTCC, ICELink, Markit MTM, OMGEO, Traiana, Trioptima, UnaVista.
- Strong communication and engagement skills.
