This is an outstanding opportunity for an established Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency investor to take on a challenging new role in Paris at one of the sector’s best respected funds.
Our client an established Infrastructure Fund active in the European Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency sectors is seeking a dynamic individual to join its Paris team to work on the latest fund that it is in the process of raising.
Operating out of the fund’s Paris HQ, this role will see the successful candidate take on a role at one of the leading independent management companies involved in the cleantech sector with several funds already invested.
This role is to work on the fund that is currently being amassed (20% committed at this stage) and will be targeted at infrastructure projects (Greenfield and Brownfield) in the environmental and energy transition sectors (mainly Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, and Water or Waste Treatment).
Candidates must have at least seven years’ experience (10 years at the most) and be an Alternative Energy specialist, as well as either a native French speaker or fluent in the language.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to progress deals from start to conclusion, as well as having a good number of closed deals in his/her portfolio.
The focus of this fund (80%) shall be on assets in France (hence language requirement) with 50% of them falling in the Renewable Energy sectors, and the rest in Energy Efficiency.
This role would suit candidates from another fund or financial advisory function in a Project Finance bank or Big 4. They must be able to display an ability to execute a deal and down the line play a central role in origination.
