Job Description

  • Assume responsibility for end of day reporting and analysis including performance estimate reporting, exposure reporting, and reporting of positions to higher management.
  • Carry out valuation for company investment portfolio, review and examine vendor prices, broker marks, models and private equity positions ensuring accordance with ASC820 (FAS 157).
  • Handle portfolio risk metrics for fund portfolio; manage regular risk reporting for risk committee and traders.
  • Assume responsibility for preparation of periodic flash estimates.
  • Produce reports for performance and exposures, details of drivers, and other metrics.
  • Oversee master position data for fund reporting systems.
  • Support the month end closing process, annual audit and financial statement reporting process.
  • Facilitate communications between the front office, operations and accounting to garner knowledge of the drivers and attribution of performance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience within financial services required.
  • Experience with product control or management reporting preferred.
  • Understanding of hedge fund accounting and risk management systems desired.
  • Public accounting experience considered.
