Job Summary

Prepare and review quarterly direct investment fund financial statements and related GP letters for multiple funds and oversee delivery to investors. Bachelor’s degree. 6+ years of relevant experience.

Details

* Prepare and review quarterly direct investment fund financial statements and related GP letters for multiple funds and oversee delivery to investors

* Oversee the audits of all direct investment funds

* Manage valuation processes for all direct investments

* Process all capital calls and distributions to the investors in the direct investment funds (including, as applicable, in-kind distributions)

* Manage all financing rounds for each new investment including: cap table review, term sheet and docs review working closely with the MDs responsible for the funds

* Prepare financial models and design all the internal reporting metrics necessary to monitor and manage the business operations of this unit

* Manage cash requirements for each fund to ensure that cash is always available for the investing programs and expense obligations of the funds

* Supervise one full time accounting professional

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree. Masters would be a plus. CPA preferred.

* 6-10 years of relevant experience. VC experience highly desirable.

* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and complete projects in a dynamic environment

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

* Strong communication skills and high degree of flexibility that will enable the individual to work directly with senior management

* Proficiency with multiple software applications strongly preferred (Investran, Excel, Word, Crystal, PowerPoint)

* Ability to operate independently and proactively to manage all financial aspects of the direct investment program

* Big 4 training is strongly preferred
