Details

A growing Real Estate firm seeks a Fund Accountant to handle the company’s private equity funds. This is a new position due to growth and provides an excellent work-life balance as well as a strong compensation package.

Responsibilities:

* Capital calls and distributions
* Consolidations
* Fair value reporting
* Financial statements prepared on a GAAP basis
* Financial highlights and ratios, P&L allocations
* Assisting in all aspects of quarterly and annual financial reports
* Coordination and communication with banks, legal counsel, and limited partners
* Preparation of audit schedules and coordination with the fund auditors
* Analyzing general ledger accounts
* Manage multiple reporting requirements across multiple fund vehicles
* Reporting to limited partners/internal departments
* Analyzing limited partnership agreements

Requirements:

* 3+ years of private equity real estate fund accounting experience, preferably with at least 2 years in public accounting
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
* CPA preferred
* Yardi experience is desirable
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
* Advanced Excel skills
* Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
* Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, limited partners, auditors and legal counsel
