Manager – Fund Accounting

Job Summary

Manage multiple client relationships, ensuring superior client service with the client service team members; Deliverables include fund administration services provided to private equity funds. BS Degree in Accounting – CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting, Private Equity accounting experience.

* Livingston, NJ-Hybrid schedule (three days on-site)
* Monday to Friday: 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Some of the Things You Will Be Doing:

The Manager will manage multiple client relationships ensuring superior client service with their client service team members.

Deliverables include fund administration services provided to private equity funds such as:
* Reviewing accounting records, financial statements, and support schedules (GAAP and OCBOA)
* Reviewing SBA compliance reporting, including SBA Form 468 preparation
* Reviewing capital call and distribution calculations and letters
* Reviewing waterfalls and partner capital account statements
* Coordinating deliverables with the Investor Services team
* Career development, supervision, and training of staff
* Daily client and team member interaction
* Internal responsibilities (filing, status reports, time tracking, etc.)

What Technical Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Do You Need?

* BS Degree in Accounting – CPA or CPA candidate preferred
* Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting required, Private Equity accounting experience required
* Working knowledge of US GAAP
* Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges)
* Investran experience preferred
* Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines
* Experience delegating, training and supervising staff
* Experience managing client relationships
* Attention to detail
* Strong organizational skills
* Professional verbal and written communication skills
