We are seeking a result driven, energetic and ambitious Senior Associate to join our Investor Relations team to assist HarbourVest China senior management to plan and execute our China strategies. The Senior Associate will support the development and growth of our client base of separate account initiatives; assist in sales support and meeting follow up with qualifying leads; and monitor fundraising pipeline.
This position will be a hybrid work arrangement.
What You Will Do:
* Strengthen and support the firm’s interactions with existing as well as prospective clients in China
* Be actively involved with investment professionals and members of the client relations team to ensure clients’ requests are met on a consistent basis
* Work closely with the entire global client relations team, including marketing communications and client service and assist in RFP process as well as presentations preparation for clients and prospects
* Participate in client service activities including reporting, training and advisory projects in the local language
* Provide input for marketing projects (presentations, annual meeting, reports, communications, website, etc.)
* Assess and pursue possible cross sell opportunities for clients in China
* Identify potential business partners in China to visit and arrange meetings for self or others
Education:
* BS/BA or equivalent
* MBA a plus
Experience:
* Minimum 5 years in institutional or financial sales and service, preferably in private equity
