Private Equity Fund Accountant:

Job Description:

Private Equity Fund Services is looking for a Fund Accountant to be responsible for all transaction processing, accrual calculations, cash monitoring and reconciliations for large Multi-Strategy Private Equity Funds. The position will provide the Fund Accountant with a broad exposure to Private Equity as well as the experience of working in a rapidly growing industry.

Prerequisite knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years overall experience, preferably including public accounting
  • At least 1-2 years of Private Equity experience
  • CPA a plus
  • Experience with Sungard Investran a plus
  • Ability to multitask and succeed in a results oriented, high pressure environment with an understanding of the need for 100% accuracy
  • Self motivated and solid team player with a client-service oriented approach
  • Work closely with various teams
  • Strong computer skills
