Description:
A qualified CPA at the US office of an international UK-based private equity firm focused on infrastructure and energy project investments is looking for a Senior Accountant.
The ideal applicant would be someone who is eager to add value to a growing business by applying their ideas and expertise to a range of tasks. The successful applicant will report to the Head of the US office and the Group Head of Finance based in the UK.
Essential Duties
Prepare monthly accounts for corporate entity
Assist with year-end audit for corporate entity
Prepare quarterly accounts for ten project entities across three projects
Oversee year-end audits for three project entities
Prepare statutory accounts for all entities
Cash flow management for all entities
Ensure all tax filings are completed accurately and on time
Prepare quarterly financial analysis of operating assets
Financial reporting to banks and tax equity partners
Coordinating income analysis for cross-border distributions (i.e. from the US back to the UK)
Lead on SEC registration and reporting when required
Working with asset management function to monitor performance of investments and report to head office
Take responsibility for all finance matters in the US (e.g. compliance, reporting, regulation, tax, etc.)
Maintain and enhance the financial control environment of the US business
This person will work directly with the Investment team.

Proficiency with computer programs, particularly Excel but also Outlook, Word & Powerpoint
Some experience of using accounting software, e.g. QuickBooks
BA or BS degree
CPA qualified
