Cutting-edge multinational energy infrastructure and private equity investment management firm that invests across a diverse array of renewable energy projects, including solar and wind, is looking for its first accounting hire. The Senior Accountant will join a team that covers over $2B AUM from institutional, high noteworthy, pension funds as well as family offices. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to help build out the US accounting operations by collaborating directly with the investment team here in San Francisco. You will:
- Leverage your strong general ledger accounting experience to manage all accounting for US entity, including, quarterly close.
- Manage implementation of accounting policy and procedure in the US by working directly with Director of Finance based in Europe.
- Partner with outside auditing and tax consultants to manage year end audit and tax filings.
- Leverage your strong communication skills to collaborate with non-US accounting team to coordinate income consolidation, international financial reporting protocols and corporate projects.
- Work directly with investment team on special projects.

Requirements
- 4+ years of accounting experience including: 3+ years of public accounting and 1+ years of private industry experience coming from financial services or energy and infrastructure industries.
- CPA
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with accountants in offices based outside the US.
- Nice to have: fund level performance reporting experience
