Our client is a pioneering venture capital firm that focuses on investing in world-class entrepreneurs who plan to change the world through innovation. They are currently managing over $350 million AUM invested in industry-changing businesses that seek to make a social impact in the technology, education and consumer goods space.
Their team in San Francisco is looking for an Accounting Manager who will be working closely with the CFO to manage the accounting operations of the funds. This person will be creating quarterly investor statements, update cash flow spreadsheets, prepare capital calls/distribution notices and perform cap table maintenance.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of experience in managing fund accounting operations in a venture capital or private equity firm or experience in processing audits in this space. They are looking for someone who is thoughtful and passionate about their investing philosophy and is motivated to own the process of the accounting procedures.
