Our client is a leading private equity fund based in London and New York. They invest equity in mid-senior level buyouts and mainly work through LBO and MBO backed deals. They are now looking to add a junior associate to their London group, who will work on the origination and execution of Financial Institutions investments for the firm. The investments can include banks, insurance companies and other financial services deals in the broadest sense. This will primarily involve meeting the management of companies, carrying out an investment appraisal, financial modelling and valuation and deal execution. The successful candidate will work for a leading investment bank or strategy consulting at the moment or blue chip advisory firm, and have 1- 3 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance or financial services orientated strategy consulting..
