JOB SUMMARY:
A leading Private Equity house focused on infrastructure and renewable energy, have been experiencing growth and a newly created opportunity has now arisen for a Fund Accountant to join their Central London based team.
This is an exciting varied role split between compliance and fund accounting for their sector-focused infrastructure fund which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. Working in a small team, you will be the key point of contact managing relationships with the fund administrator, reviewing the SPV statutory accounts and VAT returns for the fund, whilst also working closely on monitoring the budgets for the fund and SPV’s. Working closely with the COO, you will also oversee compliance, reviewing internal policies and procedures as per regulatory requirements. Working in a smaller business will also provide you with a lot of exposure across the business and you will be involved in various ad-hoc projects when required.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified accountant with a keen interest in Private Equity, ideally with relevant fund accounting experience although candidates from a funds audit background will also be considered. Taking in to consideration the broad scope of the role, you will need to be adaptable and show an eagerness to learn and work to your own initiative.
