This firm, a global leading Real Estate Private Equity with roughly USD50bn AUM, is looking for a Junior Associate to join their Hong Kong team. The firm invests regionally across different asset classes including but not limited to hotels, retail and offices.
Key responsibilities:
* assist in analysing, structuring, negotiating, recommending and when approved, closing new deals, including due diligence, underwriting and legal documentation, sourced by the investment management.
* assume primary role in financial modelling of transactions.
* assist with preparation of Investment Committee papers for submission to senior investment staff.
* provide assistance to investment management professionals in business development and relationship management.
* some asset management responsibilities
Key requirements:
* excellent analytical skills with the ability to model real estate investments in Excel to a post-leverage, post-tax level
* strong undergraduate degree
* around one to two years’ real estate experience, preferably in a real estate investment fund, investment banking or private equity.
* team player with good analytical, communication
* ideally educated or accumulated work experience overseas
