Our client is a leading Private Equity Fund with strong presence on mid-market buyouts, specializing on long term investments in healthcare, financial services, retail, manufacturing and real estate businesses in North-Western Europe, currently looking for an Associate to join its’ dynamic team in London.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the managing, monitoring and reporting on portfolio investments, including execution of add-on acquisitions, other business development activities, and eventual sales or listings
- Support sourcing and execution activities for new platform investments, including but not limited to collection and analysis of market information for assigned sub-sectors and potential investee companies in target countries
- Construct, review and maintain detailed financial/operating models (e.g. discounted cash flow, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses) for existing and potential investments; assist in the development of investment structures and terms
- Draft investment memoranda and assist with conducting and documenting of comprehensive due diligence
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree from a leading university in the United States or Europe
- MBA or CFA are preferred
- Substantial experience researching or investing in natural resources or commodities
- Private equity, investment banking, or management consulting experience
- Strong financial analysis skills with extensive financial modelling experience in Excel
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in French or German is preferred
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting
- High degree of personal integrity, self-motivation, and attention to detail
- Min Education: BA/BS
