Our client is a leading mid market European private equity fund. They take control positions in growing, successful companies and have a strong track of investing, managing and exiting successful investments. The fund is very active and has been investing for a number of years. They are now looking to add an Associate to their team, who will work on the origination and execution of investments for the fund. The focus of the investments will be consumer and retail investing. Day to day, this will involve meeting potential investee companies, financial modelling, deal structuring, deal execution of deals and assisting with portfolio management. The successful candidate will have a background as follows: – Investment bankers from the leading banks or advisors like Moelis or Lazard – Strategy consultants with an interest in moving into private equity – Chartered accountants with big four UK corporate finance experience – Private equity professionals from other funds – Great academics
