A leading global alternative investment manager is seeking a 1st Year Investment Associate to join its team. The group focuses on partnering with middle-market alternative asset managers by providing minority equity investments and strategic growth capital.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals across all aspects of the investment process, including origination, diligence, execution, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the evaluation and execution of minority equity investments in established private capital firms (private equity, private credit, and other alternative managers)
* Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation, and performance analyses on target investment opportunities
* Assist in market and sector research, including competitive benchmarking and trend analysis across alternative investment strategies
* Participate in due diligence efforts covering firm strategy, operations, governance, and financials
* Prepare investment committee materials and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations
* Contribute to portfolio monitoring and value creation initiatives post-investment

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree from a top university with a record of academic excellence
* 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a similar analytical role within financial services
* Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with experience analyzing asset management or financial services businesses preferred
* Team-oriented mindset, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities
