Job Summary

Evaluate investment opportunities and support the team on developing investment recommendation on shortlisted funds. 3+ years experience in private equity related investment, equity research, asset management, consulting, investment advisor or family office.

Details

Responsibilities:

* Evaluate investment opportunities and support the team on developing investment recommendation on shortlisted funds
* Make presentation of recommendation to shortlisted funds to headquarter and clients
* Review, analyse investment opportunities, develop and write investment recommendations for potential investment opportunities
* Make reference calls on relevant investment opportunities
* Periodically conduct market research for circulation to relevant parties
* Monitor ongoing investments capital call, distributions, etc.
* Monitor existing fund investments and ongoing financial performance of portfolio companies
* Attend investor conferences and one-to-one meetings with the external managers

Qualifications:

* MBA or equivalent is considered an asset
* CFA, CAIA, CPA, CA designation is considered an asset
* At least 3 years in private equity related investment, equity research, asset management, consulting, investment advisor or family office
* Strong research, financial modelling, analytical and valuation skills
* Professionalism, integrity and strong sense of responsibility
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
* Team player who is used to working in high performance culture
* Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (oral and written)
