What It’s About

Partners Group is seeking to hire a Zug-based Associate to join the Global Private Equity Operations team (PE Ops). PE Ops works alongside lead direct Private Equity teams, which invest in a broad range of industry verticals including business services, industrials, TMT, consumer, and healthcare, conducting various supporting tasks.

This opportunity will encompass working with portfolio company management, internal operating and investment teams to assess the operational maturity of existing portfolio companies in order to detect improvement areas and implement best practices throughout the portfolio. The Associate will be expected to collaborate effectively across the Private Equity platform and broader firm to identify efficiencies, centralise processes, build out solutions, and manage strategic projects that enable investment teams to focus on their core functions.

The successful candidate should have the following profile:
* Top academic credentials, with at least Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related subject. Graduate degree is a plus, but not required
* At least 3 years of relevant work experience (including through paid internships), preferably at Strategy / Management Consultancy, Business Development or Project Management Office (PMO)
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, able to engage and motivate others across all levels of seniority
* Self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete tasks in demanding timelines and with competing priorities
* Strong oral and written English; additional languages are a plus (e.g. German)
* Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
