Fund Overview

Accord Capital Corporation (Accord) is a family office with $500 million of assets under management (AUM). Accord’s investments typically take the form of private equity and debt financings for companies with enterprise values that generally range up to $100 million. Accord has over 25 years of experience investing in, and developing market leading companies in the healthcare, logistics, and business services sectors, however our investment strategy is opportunistic, and we will make investments in other sectors with attractive risk/return characteristics. Accord has no predefined holding period for its investments and does not rely on any third-party investors for capital, which provides Accord with a significant competitive advantage over traditional private equity funds in terms of the types of investments we can make, the structure of those investments and our ability to close transactions quickly. While Accord’s portfolio is comprised of a large number of mature, profitable companies, many of these investments originated from start-up, turnaround, and distressed situations, so we are very comfortable investing in earlier stage and/or high risk companies. Relative to Accord’s equity investments, while most have historically taken the form of majority or control investments, we have recently made and are increasingly seeking opportunities to make minority investments in companies with proven management teams and significant growth potential.
