Our client, a Private Equity firm located in Boston, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. Responsibilities include: assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements; calculation and tracking capital calls and distributions; cash/investment monitoring and reconciliation with bank; preparation of carry and profit allocations; responsible for all accounting, reporting (financial and tax) and treasury functions; and working with other groups within Finance to determine the appropriate treatment and understanding of matters. The ideal candidate will have: 3-4 years big four public accounting experience required; strong GAAP financial reporting experience; strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint; a Bachelors in Accounting or other relevant field; CPA required; excellent verbal and writing skills; ability to prioritize several tasks at one time and meet tight deadlines; and professional individual with solid communication skills and energetic attitude.
