Blue River Partners is an outsourced service provider to the alternative asset industry. We are assisting one of our Private Equity clients in filling a vacancy in their Denver office.

One Thousand & One Voices (1K1V) is a private equity firm with its US office located in the Denver market. They are seeking to fill an open position for a private equity fund analyst. Blue River Partners will be performing initial phone screens and presenting qualified candidates to our client 1K1V.

Job Description

1K1V has an opening in its Denver office for a full-time Analyst serving its International Private Equity Fund. This is an opportunity to utilize your intellectual capacity as you perform analysis on existing and potential deployments, evaluate possible realizations and communicate quarterly progress to our investor base through the drafting of quarterly reports.

Responsibilities include:

* Generating detailed financial models to analyze potential investments

* Performing due diligence on potential investments: management interactions, analyze company metrics, and review financial models

* Participate in and facilitate M&A transactions

* Preparing first drafts of internal reports

* Supporting investor relation functions while evaluating the firm’s strategy versus industry benchmarks

* Tracking industry wide and fund specific investment and liquidity data

* Preparing first drafts of quarterly and annual reports

* Modeling fund cash flows and transaction structures while working with valuation models, conducting reference calls, and compiling information for investment committee presentations

* Assisting with business development, investor relations projects and working with the back-office team

* Support investor relations functions

Job Requirements
Desired candidate profile:

* 2+ years of investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or similar experience

* M&A and corporate finance experience

* Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

* Proven track record of working independently and proactively seek new responsibilities

* Possess strong work ethic, attention to detail, strong initiative and overall capability to take direction

* Enjoy producing high quality work products while maintaining a hands-on collegial team mindset

* Ability to assess both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of an investment

* Extensive experience in writing and conducting presentations

* Ability to gather, organize, coordinate, and interpret data from disparate sources

* Conduct special research on private market strategies

* Fulfill all required duties assigned as necessary by management

* High intellectual capacity and demonstratable history of applying this intellect to the tasks at hand

* Education from top-tier school with relevant major and high GPA
