A tier one private equity firm is looking to corporatise and integrate further transactions into a global technology portfolio group to prepare and pursue an exit, most likely via trade sale in a medium time horizon but the IPO path will also be prepared as required. This strategy requires a search for a high calibre senior finance professional to ensure readiness and a successful exit. This business operates in an exciting, expansive sector and with this opportunity comes with exciting equity opportunities.
Role
As the CFO, you will be required to consolidate and integrate bolt-on acquisitions and commence the exit preparation process in due course. As part of the process you will be expected to consolidate the finance functions, systems and processes to a standard that will be audited and assured by a Big 4 accounting firm prior to exit. In addition, this role will enable seamless integration of the bolt-on acquisitions, manage the re-financing of the company with a financial institution and create an effective tax structure for the group. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the pro-active stewardship of the finance function and leadership of the eventual team.
Candidate
The successful candidate for this position will have a strong finance background with experience in: –
Sale and IPO due diligence and readiness
Integration of processes, systems and people
Corporatisation of the finance function
Organisational re-financing
Audit readiness – Development and review of accounting and international taxation structures
ASX listed investor roadshows
You will be qualified CA/CPA, ideally from a big 4 accounting firm with experience as a Group CFO within small to mid-cap business. Experience within mid-cap ASX listed organisation will be advantageous. You will therefore possess the required experience to co-lead along with the CEO the investor roadshow; In addition, you will have experience within the technology industry.
You will be experienced within core finance, have a comprehensive understanding of the technical skills required to assess and develop effective finance processes and international taxation structures. Furthermore, you will be a commercially savvy operator to ensure strong outcomes for the business and its end state.
It is essential that you have strong integration and exit (IPO / Trade Sale) experience to be considered for this position.
