Our client is an established leading SME Private Equity (PE) firm with an excellent reputation. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Investment Manager/Principal/Director to manage and execute investments for a specific fund to be based out of Edinburgh or Glasgow
They invest between £100k to £5M into prospective organisations that are poised for good growth. Your duties will include:
Origination of investments, carrying out initial investment appraisal and due diligence
The execution of investments; this is full involvement including valuations, preparation and reviewing documents, negotiation and management of advisors
Portfolio management, working with the investee companies to achieve their strategic objective
The Person
You will be :
2:1 degree or above
Ideally a qualified accountant ACA (although this is not essential)
Experience in investment banking, corporate finance from the big 4 or an independent boutique
Minimum of 4/5 years VC (venture capital) growth or PE growth experience
Senior Stakeholder Management
Real interested investing and working with SME’s
