Assistant Manager – Accounting

Job Summary

Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for credit-focused investment funds under management. General knowledge/ understanding of private equity valuations, debt and investment company accounting. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 6+ years’ related experience public accounting; 1+ years’ supervisory experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
MBA/Masters a plus
CPA strongly preferred
6+ years’ related experience public accounting (Big 4 highly preferred) or private financial institution (i.e. hedge fund, private equity, bank, etc.)
1+ years’ supervisory experience
General knowledge/understanding of private equity valuations, debt and investment company accounting
Distressed debt and/or originated loans experience preferred
Solid technical GAAP interpretation and Investment Company financial reporting expertise
Strong technical skills (i.e. advanced Excel)
Will oversee the accounting and financial reporting for credit-focused investment funds under management.

Reports to senior level accounting & finance leaders

Base plus bonus and benefits
