Our client is a leading PRC Private Equity Fund and is regarded as one of the most influential investors in the technology and internet space in the Asia region. Managing multiple USD and RMB funds, they have a fantastic portfolio of leading companies in the industry, including many globally recognised brand names.
Role responsibilities:
Draft and review legal contracts and agreements, primarily funds documentation
Provide legal and risk advice to senior management and relevant stakeholders
Work closely with the Investment Team and providing legal advice as required
Handle company secretarial matters for the company’s local and overseas registered entities (BVI, Cayman and Hong Kong)
Liaise with external third parties (e.g. regulators and external counsel)
Role requirements:
Hold a law degree and/or legal qualification
Minimum of 5 years legal experienced gained in law firms or financial institutions
Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
