Job Description

Your responsibilities as an Associate or Principal will be to provide support to the Partners of the firm in the following activities:

1. Private equity fundraising business development and client origination [Major]

* Screen, monitor and meet with North American private equity firms (GPs) across various strategies (buyout, venture capital, growth equity, special situations, distressed/turnaround, private debt)

* Update coverage and sourcing trackers on a daily basis

* Monitor private equity newsletters on a daily basis to generate new business development ideas and targets

* Draft commercial pitch materials to identified targets and track progress of pitching and negotiation

2. Private equity fundraising project management [Minor]

* Coordinate meetings, calls and roadshows for fundraising clients (GPs) in North America

* Assist in producing fundraising materials, data room documents and client reporting materials

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree from a university in the USA

* Minimum of 3 years relevant experience at a Placement Agent and/or Limited Partner, focusing on sourcing or investing in US private equity firms (GPs). Please do not apply if you do not have prior direct experience with US GPs.

* Attention to detail, execution- and client-driven

* Impeccable presentation and design skills using PowerPoint; Photoshop a plus

* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

* Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to travel within North America on a regular basis

* Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills in English, one foreign language a plus

* A desire to work in an international team-oriented environment, often with a sense of urgency

* Strong interest in the Private Equity industry
