We’re working with an international Private Equity firm looking to recruit an experienced Investment Director with a ‘Big 4’ and/or ‘Private Equity’ background to join their Singapore operation. An exciting opportunity to have real impact and working strategically with a number of the firm’s majority owned companies globally.

Your new role
As a key member of the global business, you will play an active part in a number of the majority owned companies within this firms’ agnostic portfolio. The focus of course is on growth but also is on quality and generating long term profitability rather than quick wins. Your responsibilities will include:

* Advise on capital allocation and lead capital discipline across the business, particularly with our private operating companies (e.g., reallocating dividends paid to the parent, or evaluating competing M&A opportunities)

* Lead consolidated financial and investment reporting for our operating companies and Group overall, across both public and private market investments
* Assist operating companies on strategy, business plans, priorities, branding and alignment with Clermont standards
* Oversight of an FP&A analyst, and working closely with Financial Controller and junior accounting team
* Provide senior leadership and general management as one of the heads of the Singapore office

What you’ll need to succeed
As mentioned already this is a strategic role within the business and part of the Senior Management team meaning maximum impact. Your background will reflect:

* Leadership experience at a Big 4 firm, or have experience within an elite private equity group in a similar role.
* Exceptional relational skills, able to represent the company well when interacting with operating companies or other external parties
* International business background, able to work easily across cultures and geographies
* Good communication skills and be very well spoken
* Preferably be a qualified Chartered Accountant, but not essential.
* Commitment to be an engaged, active leader of the office
