Details

Tower Research Capital LLC, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Nighttime Trader to provide support for one of our trading teams. This role is available in our New York office during nighttime shift hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage from 12am to 9am Eastern Time.
  • Develop and run automated high-frequency trading strategies.
  • Monitor trading and adjust risk parameters as needed.
  • Provide timely support for production systems.
  • Make market observations and conduct post-trade analysis.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in a similar nighttime trading role.
  • Knowledge of Equities, FX, Fixed Income, Futures, or Options trading.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) in an engineering or other quantitative discipline where a structured approach to problem-solving is emphasized.
  • Knowledge of Linux and experience using command line tools.
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting.
  • Diligence and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
