Senior Helpdesk Support Engineer / Executive Support (Windows Citrix RSA VMWare Microsoft). Prestigious Hedge Fund is seeking a Senior Helpdesk Support Engineer with a broad range of technical knowledge to support their internal users (stakeholders, front office trading staff).

As the Senior Helpdesk Support Engineer responsibilities will include overseeing and managing all desktop computers and PC peripherals; coordination of all hardware deployments and desk moves and resolution of issues with 3rd party applications (Bloomberg, Reuters, other market data).

Your role as Senior Helpdesk Support Engineer will also encompass management responsibilities; you’ll provide team leadership; training / mentoring staff, participating in weekly management meetings and with governance of all corporate mobile devices.

This is a high profile role that you can really take ownership of, they are seeking an ambitious individual looking to take on a responsible role with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment sometimes under pressure.

Requirements for Senior Helpdesk Support Engineer:

  • Strong experience of supporting computer hardware and software in a fast paced, large scale organisation.
  • Experience of supporting VIP / Executives / Senior Management / Traders.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Windows 7 Desktop OS, Citrix, RSA and VMWare.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite and Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, pragmatic and able to handle high pressure situations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Degree educated, Computer Science preferred.

As a Senior Helpdesk Support Engineer you can expect to earn a highly competitive salary (to 85k) plus bonus and benefits package.
