My client is a specialised hedge fund company looking for a bright and articulate individual to join their organisation as a senior member of their FX Operations team to run and drive their own standalone FX function.
They are looking for someone with a strong entrepreneurial way of thinking, to directly support the traders and Middle Office in their everyday activities and also improve processes within the company. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in project work and subsequently offer you the chance to add value within the team.
Additionally, the company’s extremely flat structure will give you an excellent opportunity to directly liaise with senior stakeholders within the company on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor post-trade and identify potential operational risk.
- Process enhancement.
- FX Reconciliations/Settlements.
- Project management and general business improvements.
- Dealing with reconciliations and PNL queries.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders.
- Supporting Front Office and Liaising with Traders on a day to day basis.
- Dealing with accounts and trading related costs.
Key Skills:
- Strong background in FX Operations.
- A numerate background with good analytical skills.
- Understanding of the full trade lifecycle.
- Involvement in liaising and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good understanding of trading infrastructure.
- Experience of working with specific trade management software in FX.
- Management experience of complex projects.
- Strong communication skills to liaise directly with the FO and IT desks.
