We are always looking to recruit talented Software Engineers and you will be responsible for learning all of the aspects of jump’s proprietary infrastructure trading platform and for providing development support for the users of this infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Learning end to end, all aspects of the existing trading platform and related technology.
  • Providing development support of the jump simulation environment including the development of new exchange specific algorithms and general infrastructure support.
  • Actively participate in the troubleshooting of production environment issues.
  • Defining and developing tools to enhance jump simulation platform.
  • Actively monitoring performance of the system.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Excellent C++ programming skills within in a Linux environment.
  • Experience of working on multi-threaded applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of networks and operating systems.
  • Exposure to exchange protocols is a plus.
  • Relevant background in statistical analysis is a definite plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Confident team player motivated by a fast paced environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or its equivalent.
